You can almost guarantee that despite having only one day left of the transfer window Lampard will get some new faces in , probably our Targets ,whereas we've had all month and may end up with fuck all !

Everton have spent a total of four years outside the top flight, and the two managers who took them down also brought them back up.
Lampard could easily go down as their worst ever manager.

Everton's next 2 league games:
Away to Newcastle, Home to Leeds.
They need maximum points from both of them or the fuckeries begin.

Agree with you on that Pee Wee. Rooney staying over in Derby is a bit of a win-win. If they go down no one would blame him plus there would be a good chance they would get back up on the first time of tying from which he was have a "promotion" on his managerial CV.

I can't believe there was any (current) footballing input into this choice.
Simply sounds like a "famous name appointment"; something the pundits can throw out at those viewers who may not speak English but can associate a sound with a face. An attempt to "raise Everton's profile".
They had Chang Beer as a sponsor a while back and still remain relatively unsupported in Thailand. Not because they are Everton, but because they don't wear red shirts; no need to take the debate any further - the argument stands across all of SE Asia & China..
Leicester? You retort? Completely different marketing strategy (but they are still not that "big" back in Thailand, even after winning the league).
Fuck 'em though. Stole Tony Cottee.

Fucking hell. If there was ever someone dining out on their name/playing career to get manager jobs they have no right having…

Rooney isnt as silly as he looks.
Heard an Everton fan on the radio say they should have given it to Duncan Ferguson for the rest of the season and then review in the summer in a calmer atmosphere with more options. Sounds sensible.
Personally am delighted its Lampard as think it could be an utter shit show. A full on ocean going CATASTROPHE with furious Evertonians putting dead cats through his letterbox as he relegates them without winning another game.

Rooney has played a masterstroke here.
Swerved the job knowing it’s a bad place to be at the moment. Preferring the stay at Derby shows just how bad. Let Fat Frank lose any last bit of respect he still has as a manager. Club needs to hit rock bottom before they improve, they’re not quite there yet and hopefully Lampard is the man to take them there

Now my favoured team to go down, even ahead of Newcastle, normally would like to see young English managers do well, but make the irrational exception for Frank! That history with us and slagging the fans of course but his stint at Chelsea was cringworthy at times with his bad tempered antics on the sidelines.
Refreshing that Tuchel came in and has been all class and showed how to mange the same team of players and win the CL, not one who normally praises a Chelsea manager BTW but he did make Frank look stupid…..And is always honest and objective even when his side lose, no petty excuses like many other managers.
